Dita Von Teese hosts a night of cocktails and confessions

If Dita Von Teese puts her name to something, you can be sure it’s super-glamorous, totally indulgent and has more than a hint of retro inspiration about it. And her new My Private Cointreau Coffret is all of that and more!
Poised alongside her dressing-table-come-mini-bar, Dita (who was enviably even more teeny in real life than InStyle had imagined!) was a hostess not to be upstaged in a stunning floor-length ruby-red Moschino gown, finished with her pretty pin curls, bold red lips and just a slick of eye liner.
Sipping Cointreau cocktails with her guests served in feathered martini glasses, Dita shared her excitement about the The Cointreau Coffret: ‘It’s like a secret bar, and also a place to store your jewels, love letters…anything!’
We took a seat with Dita in the boudoir-esque seating area, and asked her for her best piece of beauty advice, which was simply: ‘Don’t follow the rules.’
With that in mind, and having taken note of a a few of her favourite cocktail recipes, we’re ready to see through party season, Dita-style!
